LeggNets Digital Capture

What is it?

Made in China, originally uploaded by LeggNet.

This colorful capture was created by placing my camera inside a string windsock hanging outside a gift shop. I frequently take shots from odd angles without looking through the viewfinder.

I classify these as my "hey I wonder if this will work?" shots. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Thankfully, this one did.

I have recently "stumbled" upon your site and really enjoy your pictures. I was wondering which camera you use? I enjoy taking pictures as well, but I need a new camera. Thank you! :)

Thanks for the comment. I primarily use a Canon 30D dSLR, but will sometimes use a Canon Rebel XT as well. My 'everyday' lens is a Canon 24-105L (which this shot was made with). I also use a Canon 70-200L when I need a bit more reach.

I wandered over here, somehow, from Flickr (via a couple other sites & blogs....), and I just wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying your work. I've subscribed to your feed and I will be back!

I stumbled here while I was looking for pictures of Idyllwild for my background on my computer. I think Idyllwild is so beautiful and this picture is as beautiful as idyllwild itself. I hope you update with more. I would love to see more of them!!!
