We had a catastrophe this week at the Legg house.

First off, it’s good to know a little background. Ever since my two daughters were babies, they each received a small porcelain figurine every year on their birthday commemorating the age they became. Since my daughters are now 9 and 11 years old, we have quite a collection. The set is quite prized by both of the girls.

The collection was displayed on several shelves on the living room wall. Was is the key word here. On Thursday of this week one of the shelves fell along with the five figurines that inhabited it.

Featured in this digital capture are some remnants from the carnage. Needless to say, all the survivors have been relocated to a more stable encampment. Rest assured that the search for suitable replacements is well under way.
