Today's image was captured at the confluence of the Chena and Tanana River in Fairbanks Alaska. The Chena River (on the left) is relatively clear as opposed to the Tanana River (on the right) which is extremely cloudy caused by glacial silt.

That's cool. How did the colors look?
As always, a great photo. The merging of the two different waters isn't usually so easy to see. From the last tip of land between the Mississippi and the Ohio Rivers, at their point of confluence, the river just looks wide -- very wide.

Just went on the Riverboat Discovery Cruise in July. That water was really fascinating. Great picture
