Photowalking Salt Lake City #3
It's Photowalking time again, and even though we are based in Salt Lake City this walk will be in Provo. The third photowalk is scheduled for Saturday November 17th. We will be walking around the historic downtown district in Provo. Interesting sites include:
- Provo TabernacleThe group will be meeting in the Southeast corner of the Albertson's parking lot located at 560 W Center Street (Provo) at 4:00 pm (click HERE for a map). We will then head Eastward toward the courthouse area. If you have a tripod, it will be helpful. We will have about an hour of light before darkness sets in.
- Utah County Courthouse (pictured above)
- Pioneer Park
- Countless sidewalk shops and such
Again, these events are very non-competitive and ANY photographer is welcome to attend regardless of their skill level or camera equipment. This is a great way to introduce a friend to photography - so please invite one!

Ouch... I saw the beginning of the entry in the feed and got the feeling of Murphy's law... the only Saturday I have non-changeable plans happens to be November the 17th from 9am to 5pm. Looks like I'm going to have to skip on this one.
Wow! Can't wait to see the results of PhotoWalk Provo. I grew up in Provo and have many fond memories. My favorite building of all is Maeser Elementary School over on 400 East and 200 South. I think it's an assisted living facility now, but that's a great old historical building.
And by the way--the Albertson's you're all hooking up at? I worked there as a cashier after high school to pay for college! Have fun!
