I came upon this scene this morning shortly after the accident occurred. One moment, a young woman and her boyfriend are driving down the road enjoying life. The next moment, the woman is dead and her companion is hospitalized.
Life is indeed fragile.

Very apt...
A very sad tragedy.
It is a good photo of the incident. With the rescue crew at work and the medivac chopper in the background it becomes especially strong.
If you have an interest in on-scene emergency photography... you might want to check out http://www.firepics.net. It's a site I helped start some 6 years ago or better.
The "Fire Scene" secton includes many MVA's... most taken by the fire department personnel themselves.
